Quality Assurance Program

PDS’ Quality Assurance Program is implemented through the effective use of appropriate and trained technical and programmatic personnel; adherence to process and procedure; and the effective use of automated tools.  All projects are staffed with experienced technical and program management personnel.  Depending on size of the project quality control can occur within the project reporting independently to the program manager or external to the project report to senior management.

PDS’ Quality Assurance Plan provides the framework necessary to ensure a consistent approach to software quality assurance throughout the project life cycle. It defines the approach that will be used by personnel to monitor and assess processes and products to provide objective insight into the maturity and quality of the software.  The systematic monitoring of products, processes, and services will be evaluated to ensure they meet requirements and comply with the needs of the customer.

PDS project managers and team members have a host of tools at their disposal that enable them to estimate and schedule software development, maintain a tight overview of development tasks and requirements, provide real-time status updates to our clients, and assure excellent quality assurance.  Development, issue tracking and testing tools include Microsoft Visual Studio (VS) 2010 and Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010.  TFS is used to provide tracking of all application issues from the moment that they are originally identified all the way through their resolution.
