PDS solutions not only satisfy our clients’ requirements, but use innovative techniques and technologies to allow for streamlined maintenance and support.  This philosophy also reduces costs for future enhancements.

Over the years, PDS has been very successful in providing solutions for our clients.  These solutions have varied from simple office automation tasks to complex Financial, Document, Project and Knowledge Management Systems.  These solutions have included a wide range of technologies.  Below is a short list of some of our current projects.

Total Information Gateway for Enterprise Resources (TIGER) - This solution serves as the Intranet Portal for Marine Corps Systems Command and provides a broad umbrella of services and capabilities.  These services include Document Management, Knowledge Management, Task Management, Personnel Management, Facilities Management and many other capabilities.

The Online Project Information System (TOPIC) - This solution provides a repository of project related data and documents for Marine Corps equipment and weapons systems allowing for quick review and reporting of project status.  The standard presentation and ease of access to critical data greatly enhances the Program Management of multiple projects.

Supplemental Tracking and Reset Reporting System (STARRS)- This solution provides the ability to track and report on supplemental funds allocated to Marine Corps equipment and weapons systems.  This complex Financial and Program Management system has greatly improved our customers’ ability to report accurately on a project’s status.

Armor Readiness Maintenance Repository (ARMR) - This solution is a handheld computing technology that allows for the rapid capture of equipment status and collection in a central repository for enhanced visibility and analysis.

Marine Common Hardware Suite (MCHS) Shopping Cart –This solution provides a single point of entry for Marines to submit both hardware and software orders for procurement, provides the capability to track their order through procurement process, and display carrier tracking numbers for delivery.  The Shopping Cart helps to eliminate user errors by automating most of the procurement process.  Once an order is approved, the data is transferred to VPMS for processing.

Virtual Program Management System (VPMS) – This solution provides a centralized management repository to support the Marine Corps track and process IT procurement requests for desktops, laptops,  servers, peripherals and software for the Marine Corps.  VPMS helps to reduce the overall cycle time required to procure IT equipment, and integrates with other services to share data.  The initial procurement data is captured from the MCHS Shopping Cart.
